This website was established to show others what to look for in a quality cavalier ... we have tried to show these adult champion show dogs also as puppies to help others determine what they should look for in a puppy if they are looking for a show prospect.

It was also established to help AKC judges study type. We strive to be as helpful as possible to educate the public about these dogs to protect them from overpopulation and exploitation.

With the introduction of cavaliers into the AKC world there are so many people jumping into the breed that know nothing about this breed. It is a very difficult breed and before you buy a puppy from anyone be sure to find out as much as possible about their dogs. Find out if they have ever bred a champion dog and if they test their dogs before breeding them. A dog should be a lifetime commitment and not a purchase. Dogs should only be bred to better the breed and not to have puppies to sell. If someone is breeding litter after litter and not producing quality show dogs they should stop breeding and start over or not breed at all.

Flying Colors has the distinction of being the first and only to have bred champions in all four colors.
